The 2012 – 2013 Dove Season begins September 1, 2012 statewide. Dove Season kicks off the fall hunting seasons and is a great way to renew friendships, spend quality family time and introduce youngsters to the great outdoors hunting and shooting sports. Hunting Licenses may be purchased online or through your local sporting goods dealer. Check the seasons below for opening and closing dates in your area. DOVE SEASONS North Zone: (Above Hwy. 84 and areas south of Hwy. 84 and west of Hwy. 35) Sept. 1 – 23; Oct. 13 – Nov. 11; Dec. 15 – 31 South Zone: (Below Hwy. 84 and east of Hwy. 35) Sept. 1 – 9; Oct. 6 – Nov. 11; Dec. 21 – Jan. 13 Bag limit mourning & white-winged doves: 15 per day with possession limit of 30.
