Jacob Sartain and Jimmy Sandifer were the recipients of the Humphreys County Outstanding Wildlife Conservationist Award for 2013 at the annual Humphreys County Soil and Water Conservation District Banquet held on April 25. Through their combined efforts Jacob and Jimmy have been responsible for implementing and developing conservation practices on over 1000 acres of land in Humphreys County, Mississippi. These conservation practices benefit the land by re-establishing and managing habitat for wildlife species including waterfowl, whitetail deer and small game. Congratulations to Jacob and Jimmy for their outstanding efforts!
